A Good Follow Up

Yes, I do realize that I haven't updated in close to five months. But things have been done! Mostly house things as we don't really grasp the notion of relaxing on the weekends. Psh, what is that? There are THINGS to get done. And so we work and changes are made. I have many changes to show but I'm going to start with the hallway. My last post was about watching the husband do electrical work while I filled the crucial role of moral support.

Since then he has installed the hallway can lights and built the bookshelf. Soon we'll have to make some paint color decisions and replace that hallway closet. It's currently a solid door and completely blocks access to the adjacent room when open.

As you can see in the photo we picked up a large mirror to hang above the bookshelf. It really opens the space up. Its already hard to remember what the space felt like before our projects. I love it when things start coming together. Soon, we'll move on to the dreaded mudding and sanding.
